Vero Wallet solves a simple problem: keeping track of your personal finances should not mean opening a spreadsheet or an app every time you spend a single real. The idea is to log everything in seconds, from where you already are — Telegram.

Vero Wallet is built for Brazil: amounts are in reais (R$), and imports work with Brazilian banks.

The problem is not the app, it is the friction

Everyone has tried. The carefully built spreadsheet that lasted three weeks. The app that required unlocking the phone, finding the icon, waiting for it to load, picking a category from a list of forty and typing the amount — all of that with the card machine still in your hand. On day three you stop logging. On day ten, you uninstall.

The problem was never a lack of tools. It was that the cost of logging was higher than the perceived benefit of logging. And since the benefit only shows up after a month of consistent data, almost nobody gets there.

Vero Wallet goes straight at that point: it takes the app out of the way. The expense is logged where the conversation already happens — on Telegram — by text, a photo of the receipt or a voice message. The AI understands it, categorizes it and saves it. The web dashboard is still complete, for when you want to take a real look.

In one sentence: a personal and shared finance tracker where logging happens on Telegram, organization follows your credit card billing cycle — not the calendar month — and the analysis is done by AI when each bill closes.

Log an expense in under 5 seconds

The bot is the product’s front door, and it was designed to be talked to, not operated. There are no commands to learn: you write the way you would write to a friend.

1. Itaú ••••1234
2. Nubank (account)
3. None

In practice, the bot covers a lot more than free text:

  • Free text. “50 reais on food at Outback” — amount, category and place are extracted automatically, with no form.
  • Receipt photo. The AI reads the receipt, finds the amount and the merchant, and infers the category. You just confirm.
  • Voice message. Transcription via Whisper (Groq), useful exactly when typing is inconvenient: driving, walking, leaving a restaurant.
  • Inline installments. Replying 1 12x picks card 1 and logs the purchase in 12 installments — one reply does what takes five taps in other apps.
  • Questions in plain language. “How much do I have?”, “what’s my bill?”, “what did I spend today?” are answered on the spot, without opening the dashboard.
  • Conversational corrections. “Cancel” deletes the last entry; “my bad, it was 80” fixes the amount. No edit screen needed.
  • Weekly summary. Every Monday you get how much was spent that week and which categories weighed the most.

Easy logging is not a convenience: it is what decides whether the data will exist at all. One month of complete data is worth more than a year of half data, because only complete data allows reliable comparison, budgeting and forecasting.

Analytics by billing cycle, not by calendar month

This is probably the most underrated thing about the product — and the one that changes the most for people who live on their credit card.

Almost every finance app organizes spending by calendar month, from the 1st to the 31st. But the bill does not close on the 31st: it closes, say, on the 28th, and a purchase on the 29th falls into the next bill. The app’s report never matches what the bank charges, and you stop trusting both.

In Vero Wallet you can switch between a calendar month view and a card billing cycle view with one click. In the cycle view you see exactly what will be on the next bill, how much is already committed and what is still to come — before the bill closes.

On top of that come the analysis tools:

  • Spending charts by category, with a breakdown by transaction.
  • An automatic comparison with the previous bill, showing the percentage change in each category.
  • Inline budgets: a category’s limit is set right on the analysis screen and tracked there too.
  • Editing entries inside the bill, without going to another page.
  • A month-by-month view of future installments — how much of your upcoming bills is already committed.

AI in two layers

Automatic categorization has become a commodity: practically every app does it. Here the AI shows up in two distinct layers, and the second one is where the real value is.

Layer 1 — data entry

This is the AI that reads the text message, transcribes the audio, interprets the receipt photo and pulls the transactions out of a PDF bill. Its job is to remove typing.

Layer 2 — insights when the bill closes

When each cycle closes, the AI analyzes the whole period and produces a real reading: which patterns showed up, which expenses broke from your usual behavior, where there is a concrete chance to save. The insight arrives right on Telegram — something like “your food spending went up 23% this month, driven by weekend delivery”.

The difference is the one between a statement and a diagnosis. The bank already sends you the statement.

Balance forecast: see the problem before it happens

Your current balance is incomplete information — it does not know that rent is due on the 5th, that the bill closes on the 28th and that three installments land on the same day. Vero Wallet forecasts your balance for the next 30 days by combining recurring income and expenses, bills to pay and installments already logged.

The chart shows the curve of your future balance and flags the point where it goes negative, early enough to act. It is the difference between finding out about a tight spot on the 3rd and finding out on the 28th.

Importing statements and PDF bills

Starting from scratch is discouraging, so the product imports your history instead of asking you to type it all in:

  • OFX — Itaú, Bradesco and Banco do Brasil.
  • CSV — Nubank and Inter.
  • PDF bill — Nubank, Inter, C6 and XP: the AI reads the file, pulls out every transaction and suggests the category.

PDF bill support is what sets it apart from the market the most — it is exactly the format every bank hands out and that almost no app accepts. In every case the import goes through a review screen: you check and adjust before confirming, so nothing goes into your data without your approval.

What else comes with it

  • Goals and category limits — savings goals, spending caps and an alert as you get close to the limit.
  • Multiple users — workspace guests with read-only or admin profiles, for couples, families and business partners.
  • Smart notifications — low balance, budget overruns and due dates on Telegram; a weekly summary and browser push.
  • Transfers between accounts — move money in one click, with history and automatic undo when you delete it.
  • Cards and accounts — multiple cards, bills, comparison with the previous cycle and future installments.
  • Exportable reports — a yearly report, filtered CSV export and a PDF of the monthly analytics.
  • Global search (⌘K) — find any entry by name, in real time, with category, date and card.
  • Clean dashboard — balance, income, expenses, upcoming payments and latest transactions on a single screen.

How to get started

  1. Create your account. Sign in with Google in one click; onboarding walks you through creating your first account or card.
  2. Connect Telegram. The bot is linked through a deep link in seconds and starts logging by message right away.
  3. Get the insights. When the bill closes, the AI analyzes the period and sends the report on Telegram.

No spreadsheet, no mandatory import, no chart of accounts to set up. Bringing in your history is optional.

Plans

The free plan is permanent, not a trial period: one account, one card, the Telegram bot and the full dashboard, forever. The paid plans unlock more accounts and cards, workspace members, statement imports and the AI insights.

Who it is for

  • People who tried spreadsheets and apps and gave up. If the obstacle was always keeping your logging up to date, the bot solves exactly that.
  • People who live on their credit card. The billing cycle view and the tracking of future installments were designed for this scenario.
  • Couples and families. The shared workspace with access profiles lets everyone log and only the people who need to manage, manage.
  • Freelancers and the self-employed. Multiple accounts, balance forecasts and exportable reports for people with variable income who need to see a cash crunch coming.

In short

Vero Wallet does not try to win by having more screens than the others. It starts from three concrete bets: logging has to happen where you already are (Telegram, by text, photo or voice); organization has to reflect real life (billing cycles, future installments, balance forecasts); and the analysis has to tell you something you did not know yet (AI insights when each cycle closes, not just a pie chart).

It is free to start, takes three minutes to set up, and your first expense is logged by sending a message.
